These two teams met just two weeks ago in the regular season with the Cougars defeating the Spartans 34-24 at Kenneth J Dobson Stadium in Dublin. Now, the Region 4 Championship is at stake and the winner advances to the state semifinals. Once again, Dublin is the battleground.

Chilhowie (10-1 Overall) @ Floyd County (11-0 Overall)

Floyd County defeated George Wythe last Friday night 15-14 on a game ending two-point conversion. The Buffaloes are undefeated facing a one-loss Chilhowie squad whose lone defeat was to the Maroons of George Wythe just two weeks ago. Floyd County is rated #1 by the VHSL power rating system. Blacksburg, Va.- Radford fell at Virginia Tech, 78-54, Tuesday evening from Cassell Coliseum. Juniors Charron Leeper (Cleveland Heights, Ohio) and Kymesha Alston (Hampton, Va.) each tallied a team high 11 points and game best eight rebounds. Senior Johnette Walker (Columbia, S.C./Irmo) contributed with 11 points and a game high five steals.
